ASOS Wishlist

Saving for a house and a holiday is so hard. A girl can dream though..

A. ASOS Paisley Swing Dress.  I love the colours in this dress, so autumny and warm. With some swing dresses I have tried they tend to make me look a lot  bigger than I actually am! I am feeling positive with this one though.

B. ASOS Boyfriend Shirt. Seen as though I am in my work clothes more than I am in any other clothes, I think I need to re vamp my work attire. I saw this simple shirt and wondered why I haven’t got anything similar. It will go with most things and I will definitely get my wear out of it.

C. ASOS Part time Lover Pointed High Heels I really like these, they look so classy. They maybe a little too high for work though!

D. The Elements Striped Tunic Dress. My friend has bought this dress and it looks fab. She said it's really comfy too. The sleeves are really detailed and it does look lovely.

'I'm not going home, not really'

I have been looking forward to this day for.....ever!

As you can probably tell if you follow my twitter, I love Harry Potter.

I have read all the books several times and have an annual Harry Potter film marathon every Christmas.

So why I hadn't visited the Studio Tour yet was beyond me!

Me, Dad, Brother and Husband Peter piled in the car on Saturday morning and headed down to Watford for a day of Butterbeer, Broomsticks and Horcruxes.

I took way too many pictures in my excitement so please forgive me, but here is a little in sight to my magical day!

Entering The Great Hall

Hermione's dress is just so beautiful.

Griffindor's dorm room!

Caput Draconis...it didnt work!

My first sip of Butterbeer

The Hogwarts castle at the end was spectacular. I got a little emotional!

A great day was had by all! It was definitely worth the journey down and so glad I have finally been!

I will never stop wishing I could go to Hogwarts!

A Day with Mum

On Friday, my Mum and I had our annual October shopping trip. We tend to go in October before the rush for Christmas and we have to spend all our spare pennies on presents for other people.

We started off in Roast and Conch for a hot chocolate and a quick bun.

We both had the classic hot chocolate, but I was most disappointed they didn't have any cream to go on top! I made up for it and had a croissant and mum had lemon drizzle.

Then it was on to the shopping!

My main bargain of the day were these fringed ankle boots from Topshop. They are so comfy too!

My Liz Earle addiction continues as I bought this Daily Eye Repair. I will let you know how I get on with it.

It was then time for a very welcome glass of wine to recuperate. We thought we would try out Angelica's at the top of Trinity.

I loved it. I felt like I was a 'Ladies that Lunch'  in London ha!

Mum excited about her new purse!

We had also booked in for champagne afternoon tea at Harvey Nichols for a treat, which I was very excited about.

I really do love a good afternoon tea.

And it did live up to my expectations.

Do you have any recommendations for a good afternoon tea in Yorkshire?

Hope you all had a lovely weekend :)

Guinness Night

In a few weeks the company I work for is taking us to Dublin to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. We are all super excited, but then me and my two work friends quickly realised that we had NEVER tried Guinness and didn't know if we even liked it.

Guinness night was then planned. And then Almost Famous opened in Leeds. 2 birds with one stone and all that. (I really hate that saying!)

If you fancy a big fat American burger then this is the place! oh and the fries.....the fries...

We then had a walk over to O'Neills. I have been told this is the best Guinness you will get outside Dublin so.... we gave it a whirl!

I haven’t had internet at home for a while now so this is just a quick post on my lunch break to just catch up. I feel I am being a really poor blogger recently and I am not happy about it!

Triple Nom Burger

I love this sweetie table!

And the first Guinness I have ever had!

Does anyone have any recommendations for me while I am in Dublin? I have never been to Ireland before.

Working on Wednesday

Wednesdays are the day I hate the most. I don’t really know why, I just don’t know where I stand with them. Its neither the start of the week or the end of the week.

So I am devising a plan where I try and make every Wednesday positive. You should do this every day really but Wednesday is the day I need to work on the most!

I have this on my desk at work. I love it.

Here are a few quotes that cheer me up and make me smile

Happy Wednesday!
